The internet speeds have drastically gone up in the recent years. I guess most of us will still remember the days when we used to connect to the internet using the telephone modem. The advent of broad band has changed a lot of things and with it web conferencing, video streaming , p2p sharing have all taken a new dimension.

BT Broadband is one of the leading providers of broadband internet in the UK. You can get speeds of up to 8 Mbps for the downloads and the package includes UK evening and week end calls. The lower end package is priced at 8.95 pounds a month and it is definitely a great deal. The best of all is that if you order online before the end of this month you get a free wireless BT home hub free of cost. So if you are looking to go in for a new broadband internet connection then BT would be a very good option.
