If you are planning to buy an Iphone or an Ipod touch do put it on a hold because the price may fall down by $100 as speculated by some sources. The 8 GB Iphone will be phased out and the new 16GB one will be priced at $399. Similarly the earlier versions of Ipod touch will be phased out. Most anticipated one though is the 3G version.

After the grand success of the N95, Nokia is up on the heels to release the successor to it. Named obviously as N96 Nokia knowingly or unknowingly did a leak of information and closed it shortly on their site. The N96 is said to have lot of better enhancements than it is predecessor and the memory has also been increased considerably. The significant addition is the provision for receiving digital TV signals.

Dell laptops will no more be produced with the AMD processors as the two parties have ended their relationship. The Dell computers with those AMD processors have been pulled off from the online store and if you wish you may grab those final ones from some of the retailers! This is a great hit to the already loss making AMD who has not yet recovered from it.

Over a period of time we procure invaluable data on our system and one thing which we fail to do is to back up all the data. These days every system is prone to virus attacks and other malware threats and the data in your system is always at risk and it is a good practice to back up at regular intervals. Imagine the plight if your hard drive crashes and you lose all the media, documents , files which you have accumulated after days and weeks of hard work. This has happened to me in the past when one of my hard drives crashed and also it became unrecoverable. Copying all things on to another drive is not a feasible option and it kills lot of time and money. So the best option is to go in for an Online Backup system.
IBackup is an excellent online back up service which will be a great companion for small business and people who work out of their homes. Ibackup has bagged many awards from reputed media like PCworld and PCMagazine and this reflects the effectiveness and the quality of service which they deliver. The service supports open file backups and also integrated high end databases and SQL servers. One distinctive feature is the provision to do remote back from your browser and also you can set up for automated back up sessions.

Now a days there are many instances where your name is getting misused and you don’t have any control over it. Identity theft is happening very commonly and a secure prevention system is the need of the hour. LifeLock seems to be a very good option and they provide a super cool service at a unbelievable price of $10 a month. If any one tries to mis use any of your resources and try to commit a frauid then it can be easily prevented by using lifelock. What they do is set up fraud alerts through the credit bureaus and then take care from there on.
One other most annoying thing is that when many of the bureaus keep pestering you for all the details and you amy not even know if it is a genuine one and in a step by step process by lifelock they remove all your details from such lists after you grant them the necessary access and this people have found very effective and worth the price. One other service which they provide is wallet lock which i feel is a very awesome service as many people don’t know what to do when they loose their wallet. The most striking feature is the compensation which they provide when you are on lifelock support.

The CD/DVD burning software is dominated by Nero and it is no doubt a super cool software but the point is too expensive and also they will increasing the prices. So many people are forced to look out for alternate options. There are many free alternatives which you can download from the internet either as a full pack or trial version and many are compatible with the latest version of Windows. CDBurner XP and Infra recorder looks simple and serves the purpose well.

There has been a significant increase in the number of firefox users over the past two years and many more people are ditching IE. In many of the European countries this percentage is on the high rise and it has increased to more than 27% from a 20% share over a period of two years. Many are also looking at alternate options like Flock, Safari etc which also provide many functions.
